About Us
Women's Development Planning Society (WDPS)
Helping create livelihood opportunities for women across Tamil Nadu
Women's Development Planning Society (WDPS) is a nonprofit organization established in 2005 at Trichy (D), Tamil Nadu. WDPS provides training, income opportunities, awareness in various areas, and educational coaching to women around Thiruverumbur block, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, and acts as a bridge between these women and the external market so that they can earn their independent income by themselves.

We enhance the availability of water, increase the productivity of land, diversify livelihoods, empower women, and strengthen the health and well-being of vulnerable rural communities.
Our Programs
Women Empowerment
The power equations that obstruct women’s realization of healthy and fulfilling lives function across different levels of society, from very personal to the highly public. Accomplishing transformation needs program initiatives that would enhance women’s access to secure livelihoods & economic resources, lessen their extreme responsibilities with regard to housework, eradicate legal obstacles to their participation in public life, and increase social awareness through effective programs of education and mass communication.
